Artemi - developers of the amazing Wardrobe Wizard® |
|
Paul Artemi had an idea that occurred to him in 1992, when he was 22 and working for his father delivering garments around London.
Unhappy at the prospects of having to make two lengthy trips to west London because his van could not carry all the garments in one go, he began to think of ways in which he could hang more garments onto the rail, thereby increasing how many garments his van could carry, his solution was simple – a hook with a loop hanging underneath upon which extra garments could be hung in-between the existing garments on the rail. He discovered the ‘Spacemaker’® could actually double or triple the rail’s capacity!
After building a prototype made of cardboard, cash strapped Mr Artemi, raised £200 to have a plastic model made. He then sold his car to raise the £2000 needed to make a mould and start production of his invention.
15 years on and the Artemi Spacemaker® is now sold in over 20 countries and used by some of the largest high street fashion retailers and manufacturers in the world.
In 2000 Artemi was awarded the prestigious Queens Award for Enterprise and Paul Artemi was invited to attend a reception at Buckingham Palace by HM Queen Elizabeth the second.
Artemi has recently launched the Wardrobe-Wizard®, a smaller version of its industrial big brother the ‘Spacemaker’®, so everyone can enjoy the many benefits of this amazingly simple invention in their wardrobes at home. |
